Safety Officer

A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and preventing accidents in workplaces such as construction sites, factories, and industries.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Identify hazards and take preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with government safety regulations
  • Train employees on safety practices and emergency procedures
  • Investigate accidents and prepare incident reports
  • Monitor use of PPE (helmets, gloves, safety shoes, etc.)
  • Maintain safety records and documentation
  • Conduct fire drills and emergency response planning

🔹 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Science preferred)
  • Diploma or certification in Industrial Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.)
  • 1–5 years experience (some trainee roles available for freshers)

🔹 Salary (India – Approx)

  • Fresher / Trainee: ₹2 LPA – ₹3.5 LPA
  • Experienced: ₹4 LPA – ₹8 LPA
