Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, maintaining healthcare standards, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
The Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing nursing teams, supporting staff development, and ensuring that patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing staff.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and nursing practices.
- Monitor patient treatment plans and nursing procedures.
- Assign duties and schedules to nursing personnel.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to nursing staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.
- Assist in resolving patient concerns and nursing-related issues.
- Coordinate with doctors, healthcare professionals, and hospital departments.
- Maintain nursing records, reports, and documentation.
- Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Educational Qualification

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Senior Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse, or Nursing Supervisor.
- Knowledge of NABH standards and hospital accreditation processes.
- Experience in ICU, Emergency, Operation Theatre, or Critical Care departments.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
