Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Music Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching music theory and practical skills, encouraging creativity, and helping students develop an appreciation for music. The Music Teacher will create engaging lessons, prepare students for performances, and foster a positive learning environment that supports artistic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver music lessons for students of different age groups.
- Teach vocal music, instrumental music, or both, depending on expertise.
- Introduce students to music theory, rhythm, melody, and notation.
- Train students for school performances, competitions, and cultural events.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork through musical activities.
- Organize choir groups, music clubs, and extracurricular programs.
- Maintain musical instruments and ensure their proper use.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management for event planning.
- Participate in school functions, assemblies, and annual celebrations.

Educational Qualification

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in schools, music academies, or cultural institutions.
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments such as Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Tabla, Drums, or Harmonium.
- Experience preparing students for music competitions and performances.
- Knowledge of both Indian and Western music styles is an advantage.
